and Social Issues is the foundation of the CSA course. It is an easy-to-use,
on-the-job reference guide that you can continue to rely on as a valuable resource
long after you’ve completed the CSA course.
The textbook’s 22 in-depth chapters explore
the key health, financial and social issues that most impact seniors’ lives
today. This timely and insightful information is backed by solid research and
illustrated with numerous stories and examples.
Powerpoint Notebooks
A page-by-page print-out of the PowerPoint slides for each course instructor
presentation that serves as a study aid as well as a handy reference of key
concepts and stats for course learning and exam study. Printed notebook is sent
with all course enrollments.
Exam Study Guide items
The Exam Study guide items are comprised of both Key Terms and Concepts
and Exam Review Questions items. These help reinforce key terms and
concepts from the textbook with more than 250 study questions as well as review
questions that act as practice tests for the exam. These items are available
online in the student course portal for all course enrollments and print copies
are available for an additional charge.
Online recorded course modules (online students)
Recorded instructor presentations of CSA course topics by expert faculty allow
students to follow along just as if they were sitting in the live classroom.
These are available for the full 6 months of the course and can be viewed as
many times as needed.
Optional Items (that can be ordered for additional charge)

the course, these audio-only versions of the recorded course presentations provide
the same review of course information that is offered in the live CSA classroom.
Video DVDs: An easy-to-use way of viewing the recorded course presentations when you don't want to use the internet, these DVD versions of the online recorded course presentations provide the same review of course information that is offered in the live CSA classroom.
