How to Use the CSA Locator
What is the CSA Locator?
The CSA Locator is an online search engine on the CSA website that allows members of the public to search for those professionals who have gained and maintained the Certified Senior Advisor designation. This means that you and your services can easily be found by prospective clients, fellow colleagues, government regulators, and seniors themselves. You can also use the CSA Locator to communicate and network with fellow CSA’s in your area.
To protect the privacy of our CSA’s, we have withheld any personal/direct contact information and only list your name, location and occupation. Should you choose to have more explicit information provided, such as address, contact numbers, email addresses, website, etc., you can certainly do so.
What Does it Mean for Me?

How Do I Update My CSA Locator?
Easily! All you need to do is login to your CSA Member Portal account. (If you have forgotten your login information, no worries, you can instantly change your password at the login page. Your UserID is typically your email address that is on file with us. Should you need assistance, contact society@csa.us and we can happily help you!
Once you have logged in to your CSA Member Portal account, please follow these simple steps:
- On the left-side navigation panel, under Manage Your Account, click on Update CSA Locator.
- On this page, scroll-through and add/update all information that you would like to publicly appear in the CSA Locating Service.
- Once you have completed updating your information, be sure to click the Acknowledgement box at the bottom of the page to give approval for your information to publicly appear.
- Click Save Verifier Info and all changes/updates will be implemented.
How Do I Message Other CSAs?
First, you will need to go to visit the CSA Locator at www.csa.us/CSAVerifier. You can choose to search for a CSA by either location or by name. Once you fill in the criteria you are searching for, the system will generate a page of results. Under each CSA’s name that appears, a blue "Contact this CSA" button will appear. You can than click on this button, which will pop-up a new window, to send a personal message directly to that CSA. Please remember that all email addresses are fully-hidden for your protection unless you choose to have this be public information.
