How Medicare and Other Health Insurances Compare

With today’s economics and later full Social Security Benefit age, many people are continuing to work past age 65.  And they want to know if they “HAVE” to enroll in Medicare at age 65.  The answer (always) is:  It Depends!  There are different answers depending upon whether you are insured through your current employer or with a retiree plan.  There are different rules if you have a High Deductible Health Savings Account.  With retiree plans Medicare is primary and you must have Parts A and B.  In this webinar we will discuss comparing employee and retiree coverage to Medicare,  and talk about how the Affordable Care Act and Individual insurance plans impact Medicare.  This will help you advise your clients as to the actions they need to take when they become eligible for Medicare and the timeframes for picking up coverage without having to wait or go through health underwriting.
