Registration is open from Jan 1, 2016 to August 26, 2016. Rates vary based on date of registration.
Early Bird Registration:
January 1 to April 30, 2016
May 1 to August 10, 2016
August 11 to August 26, 2016
One Day Registration:
Your conference rate covers all education sessions, conference materials, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and the receptions with heavy appetizers and cash bar on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Guest fees are typically used for spouses or significant others. Guest fees can be paid at the door for the following:
A confirmation of your registration will be sent to you via email immediately upon registering online. The confirmation will come from the email firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional confirmation materials will be emailed to you in advance of the conference.
Refunds are available for all individuals who have registered for the CSA Conference. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent to email@example.com. Once approved, you may receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Refunds are available until June 30, 2016.
We do not require that you pre-register for break-out sessions. However, seating for concurrent education break-out sessions is first-come, first-served. Seating is limited. Make sure to arrive early for sessions you wish to attend.
Yes, you may transfer your registration to another individual, or apply your registration to the 2017 CSA Conference. Requests to transfer registrations must be made in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please email email@example.com to make arrangements for special needs. Additionally, for those with dietary restrictions, reasonable accommodations can be made. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you have dietary restrictions. All dietary needs must be addressed prior to August 15, 2016.
Hotel & Transportation Questions
Book hotel rooms before July 26 in order to receive the guaranteed group rate of $159. Blocks of rooms are available from August 23 – 31.

Set in downtown Washington DC, this contemporary hotel is a 12-minute walk from The White House and 1 mile from the Washington Monument.
All rooms offer upscale decor and custom-designed beds, plus desks, 42-inch flat-screen TVs and WiFi (fee). Executive rooms provide access to the Executive Lounge's free breakfast and evening appetizers. Suites add separate living areas, pull-out sofas and wet bars.
Amenities include a refined grill restaurant serving modern American cuisine and an informal lounge, plus a fitness center and spa (surcharge). There's also a business center and 30,000 sq ft of meeting space (including an opulent ballroom).
We encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. Rooms are available on a first come first serve basis.
The CSA Conference is located inside the Capital Hilton, therefore, no transportation or shuttles will be provided.
The hotel does not provide shuttle service to and from the airport.
If you choose to park a car during your stay at the hotel, overnight parking is an additional $56 per night.
Registration will be located in the Continential room. Here you will be given your name badge, conference bag, and program with additional information.
We encourage you to dress in business casual attire. August in Washington, DC is hot and humid, but rooms in the venue can be cool. Dressing in layers is advised.
SCSA provides a full breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and the receptions with heavy appetizers and bar on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Yes, continuing education is available for the CSA Conference. 12 CSA CE credits will be given to CSAs who attend. Continuing education is also available for the following designations. CE credits vary based on sessions attended, for a detailed breakdown of CE credits please contact SCSA.
Yes, continuing education credit is available for the CSAs who attend the International Conference on Positive Aging prior to the CSA Conference. 6 additional CSA CE credits will awarded to CSAs who attend the pre-conference option. Therefore, CSAs who attend the International Conference on Positive Aging (6 CSA CE Credits) and the CSA Conference (12 CSA CE Credits) will receive a total of 18 CSA CE Credits.
