Essential Documentation for Seniors Attendees will identify and learn about the important legal issues, documents and terms to assist themselves and their clients when and if the need arises before during and after a long term care event. At the end of the session attendees will better understand the various legal planning issues and the documents that are needed to assist in caring for themselves and their clients. From their attendance they will be able to define what these documents mean for their situation and what documents they should have in place to aid their clients. By the end of the presentation attendees will be able to discuss the legal issues that can come up in a long term care situation, be able to identify the various documents needed in a long term care situation and how, when and why they are needed and used. and understand the importance of advance planning and provide tips for making plans now. Attendees will be able to have a much more informed discussion with families about the need to put these legal documents in place to support a long term care event. Learning Objectives
About Rick Rick is a seasoned Wealth Management Advisor with Lara, May & Associates, LLC, originally licensed some 25 years ago, and today is a nationally recognized speaker on many senior related long term care financial planning topics. Previously, he worked in Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group focused on wealth accumulation strategies and income producing investments for affluent individuals across the country and it was there that he realized his heart is in helping our aging population and their loved ones during what can be a stressful and difficult time of life.
