Althea Halchuck, EJD, CT, BCPA, is the founder of Ending Well! Patient Advocacy, LLC, a Board-Certified Patient Advocate, professional medical power-of-attorney, and end-of-life Doula. She has extensive expertise and service to patients and families with over 20 years of experience advocating for the vulnerable and dying. She has focused much of her life and career on assisting those facing the end of life’s journey through death education, planning, legacy projects, and counseling.

She has been a Certified Thanatologist since 2016, qualifying her to teach death education and counsel the terminally ill. Althea has been a bedside hospice volunteer for 20 years and uses her passion and expertise to execute hospice patients’ final wishes so they may rest in peace.

She began practicing as a mediator in 2003 and now helps people resolve conflict in family/elder disputes in clinical settings. In 2012, she earned an Executive Juris Doctor in Health Law from Concord Law School, a division of Purdue Global.

She earned certificates in advance care planning facilitation and offers free community and senior living facility workshops. She is also an experienced speaker, presenting to various groups nationwide about end-of-life issues, wrongful life cases, and clinical mediation.
