Overview

We are living longer but are we living better? Healthcare expenses are growing. Employers are changing their healthcare plans to incentivize employees to take ownership of their health. Pensions are fading and retirement savings rates are diminishing. The good news is we have some control over our most important asset: our body. Learn about the broader changes going on in healthcare, how they will ripple into your practices, and why each of us needs to become experts in the aging resources available in our communities. That’s the opportunity to grow our businesses, and provide best practice services to active, aging clients.

Learning Objectives:

• Discuss the shift from wellness to well-being.

• Learn why health is the new wealth.

• Discuss movement vs. exercise.

• Learn what movement-factors are most important for active aging adults.
