Tell a Friend About This EventTell a Friend

People spend more time researching a new car purchase than they do on Medicare. However, unlike the purchase of a car, Medicare has no warranty. In most cases, you cannot trade in a bad decision. A Medicare “lemon” can cost a person in dollars and coverage for a lifetime. This session will focus on how you can help your clients make the best Medicare decisions, starting with timing (the most under-researched topic with the highest return of mistakes).

People spend more time researching a new car purchase than they do on Medicare. However, unlike the purchase of a car, Medicare has no warranty. In most cases, you cannot trade in a bad decision. A Medicare “lemon” can cost a person in dollars and coverage for a lifetime.

B. Describe two important differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
C. Describe one or more of the consequences of mistiming Medicare enrollment.
D. Identify three costly Medicare mistakes uninformed Medicare shoppers can make.
