This spectacular Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Prairie Style home is unlike any you’ve seen. Clever design features and meticulous detailing make this home convenient, accessible, functional, peaceful and safe for everyone during every stage of life — regardless of age, size, or physical ability. This high performance custom home showcases the asked for, forward thinking features of universal design, green and healthy construction principles.

Attendees on the webinar will learn about the benefits of universal design and more during this virtual tour and presentation. As attendees consult with their current and future clients, a needs analysis will be invaluable to select the ideal existing home or new home floor plan. Many clients are looking to remodel or build their retirement homes to create their “forever home.” People who can counsel consumers about universal design features important to present and future housing needs are in a better position to meet their needs for housing. Conversations need to include a discussion about the importance of universal design and how homes that include these features will better serve the homeowners in the present, as well as in the future.

The Universal Design Living Laboratory, located in Columbus, Ohio, is the top rated universal design home in North America earning national certifications from the U. S. Green Building Council and the Home Innovations Research Labs, a subsidiary of the National Association of Home Builders.
