At the end of this 50-minute webinar participants will be able to:

  • • Give examples of the 10 non-financial aspects of retirement every baby boomer needs to know. How to relate those non-financial aspects to a client’s retirement wants and needs. How to recommend a variety of options for handling each non-financial aspect.

  • • Recognize symptoms of a baby boomer’s denial about aging and the difficulty of post-employment life. Be able to present options for breaking through denial by developing strategies that organize, empower, and engage baby boomers to redirect their behavior.

  • • Identify negative emotions experienced in the transition from working to not working, demonstrate the importance of planning to optimize mental health in this transition period and design individualized strategies for creating a post-employment identity using Your Countdown to Retirement tips, tools and techniques.
