Real Estate Trends You Cannot Ignore

Over 90% of senior citizens want to remain in their homes for the duration of their lives.  Me too! However, adult children have moved away, the two-story house is too big to handle, the winters are too cold, and Alexa is not a friend. This session is filled with the most important resources to consider when considering whether to stay in the family home or move.

Topics include:

  1. 1. The Village Movement: Is there a Village in our neighborhood?
  2. 2. The Migration of Grandparents
  3. 3. Is the house in a Trust?
  4. 3. Do I know the local real estate propositions benefiting people over the age of 55 (if any)?
  5. 4. Real Estate Scams that target the Elderly
  6. 5. What is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and how do I know they are good?

Depending upon the length of the session, each topic will be expanded upon.  The goal is to have all attendees leaving with the tools for making the right decision and hiring the right people when it comes to dealing with an elderly person and their real estate. We take into account health and financial wellness, as well as consider cases where adult children need to sell or lease the real estate of someone who has already passed away.

Each situation is unique, but the right information will make an overwhelming task very manageable, and ensure the people involved and profit is protected.

Learning Objectives
  •  Resources for aging in place
  • Maximizing real estate profit
  • The importance of hiring a Realtor who specializes in the 55+ population
