Over the course of a few weeks, the temporary stay became permanent. As a result, Sue’s journey into private residential care and ultimately into franchising began. She developed a much-needed alternative to the standard, large-scale nursing home. Sue terms the approach as “Person Direct Care.” She has devoted her life to focus on those individuals who she believed were not fairly, or even humanly represented in the home care community – she is: graciously caring for those who cannot care for themselves.
