About Ryan

Ryan Ponsford has been involved in wealth management, real estate, and philanthropy for over two decades.  From designing strategic solutions for families and rapidly growing companies, to founding and expanding Main Street Philanthropy, a non-profit organization, his experience is extensive, yet built upon a repeatable set of principles.  With American Advisors Group, he leads a team specializing in designing solutions and education for professionals serving the retirement marketplace on how to effectively integrate home equity into their clients’ financial strategies.

Ryan graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and extensive coursework in Chemistry. He is involved in various activities including serving on several boards, singing in a quartet, playing guitar with a band, coaching youth sports teams, and having grown up in Sonoma County, has an affinity for decent wines. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in north San Diego with their three young children.
