Clear Path founder and host of Desperately Seeking Senior Living…The Podcast, Valerie Borgman worked in senior living communities for 5 years before starting Clear Path in 2015. Valerie is originally from Illinois. Her son Caleb and his wife live outside St Louis, MO and in the past year, they helped Valerie add Grandma to her many titles!

Valerie is proud to be a Certified Senior Advisor and a Certified Placement & Referral Specialist. Valerie’s experience with her father’s Dementia and passing in 2007 inspired her passion for working with seniors and for education. She started Desperately Seeking Senior Living…The Podcast in 2021 to help families and professionals learn more about the senior living industry and with over 130 episodes, thousands have listened in. The goal of Clear Path and the podcast is to clear the path and help families go from desperate to doable.
