Participants will gain knowledge and skills in:
•How to build awareness with clients about dementia risk and its impact on finances and daily life
•How to start a conversation about dementia risk and build a contingency plan
•Ensuring you’re prepared for the dementia risk conversation (environment, tone, wording)
•Building client retention by building a deeper relationship through challenging conversations
•How to apply this knowledge with real-life industry examples, including financial planning, placement, real estate, and estate management
SPEAKER: Pam Ostrowski is a national Dementia Care consultant, highly-rated author, and speaker. She educates organizations and family members about the dementia caregiving journey along with one-on-one guidance on coping skills, knowing what to expect, and how to handle the overwhelm, confusion, and emotion after a loved one is diagnosed with dementia.
