The Jeff Henson Memorial Scholarship honors the memory and legacy of Jeff Henson, a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and successful insurance executive. Jeff had a deep passion and dedication to serving older adults that infused his work for more than 20 years as Assistant Vice President, Director of Marketing Services for GPM Life’s Senior Division.

Jeff was one of SCSA’s strongest advocates since becoming a member in 2006. He played crucial roles in the dually accredited CSA Certification Program, including four years on the CSA Board of Standards (two years as chair) and as an original member of the first CSA Certification Council in 2007, as well as serving on the CSA Journal Editorial Board for almost ten years.

Whether in his profession or volunteering for SCSA, Jeff described himself as a strong advocate for continuing education and he especially enjoyed mentoring and supporting professionals who serve older adults.
