About the Presenter

Reina Schlager, CPA/PFS Personal Financial Specialist*

Reina is a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor. Reina has been involved with area agencies supporting Seniors over the last 37 years, and built her Tax Planning & Wealth Management Firm, SCHLAGER SCHLAGER & LEVIN. During those years she served her clients, their children, and just started that next generation when she did retire in December of 2020. A speaker nationally and an author locally, she was also on the AICPA National Long-Term Care task force and the Florida Elder Planning & Support Services Committee. She is a national and statewide speaker on topics including: Long-term Care, End-of-Life Planning, Income distribution, Social Security, Planning for Medicare, and Estate & Tax Planning.

Will we outlive our funds? Should we take our Social Security now or later? Can we afford to move into a Continuing Care Community or choose an Independent Living rental? When will long term care insurance work in those settings? Would we qualify for Veterans Aid & Attendance and/or Medicaid? Are we being tax efficient in our investing? How do we sufficiently plan for End of Life? These are the many areas in which Reina assisted her clients as a CPA/PFS, Series 7 Securities-registered representative, and Licensed Insurance Agent. Her current active licenses are Life/Health insurance and her CPA/PFS.
